Rum and Tiki

If your 2020 was anything like mine, then you’ve been missing the sun, warm sand and something tropical to sip on while relaxing on some island you can’t pronounce. Hopefully a nice vacation will be more accessible soon, but until then i got you. At least for the drink part. The origin of many Tiki drinks and their recipes can be debatable. Learning how to balance many different flavors to make one spectacular drink is invaluable.

What you’ll be making

Mojito

The quintessential summer drink wherever you vacation. Lime, mint and soda make a deliciously refreshing concoction that is almost too easy to go down.

Mai Tai

Mai Tai’s are freaking delicious. Still, many people are hesitant to recreate this at home. I promise it is really not as complex as it may look. And that orgeat stuff really makes that drink.

Jungle Bird

This is one of the more complex tasting tiki beverages. When you put pineapple and rum together it screams of something relaxing and tropical. This may be my favorite of the three.
